over the last decade, Identity and Access Management (IAM) has become a crucial part of cybersecurity strategy. The ability to provide the right level of data access to the right user has gained focus and investment within many organizations. Having a complex web of users and applications, companies often search for vendors able to implement the best IAM solution for their existing infrastructure. The problem is there is a vast array of IAM vendor products on the market, while at the same time, too few people certified as IAM experts to implement and support those products. Identopia brings a holistic approach to the market by offering vendor agnostic IAM expertise and end-to-end IAM program implementation and support services. Identopia’s goal is to achieve a 100% success rate in implementing IAM solutions one customer at a time.

Identopia brings certified expertise to the three primary modules of an IAM program: Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), Single Sign-On (SSO) and/or Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Privilege Access Management (PAM). To make them all work seamlessly in each client’s unique environment, Identopia has a world-class services portfolio that includes IAM Advisory Services, Implementation Services, Validation Services, and Maintenance Services. Notably, Identopia offers all or a mix of these services in a subscription-based model.

Starting with Advisory Services, Identopia, through its IAM Strategy Workshops, engages with the customer’s various stakeholders in a two-week workshop. The goal of this workshop is to document the client’s current state IAM program which includes identifying users and applications, and documenting the I/T security policies, processes, and technologies that govern access to those applications. They then map the customer’s current state onto industry standard IAM maturity models to perform a gap analysis. The resulting output from the gap analysis is the customer’s future state defining a best-class IAM solution. Identopia publishes a detailed roadmap and implementation project plan for the customer that visually details their IAM journey from their current state to their more robust future state.
IAM roadmap implementation is often a multi-year journey. Identopia’s Implementation Services Group divides the IAM roadmap into phases driven by the client’s budget and business priorities. Identopia is highly flexible with the implementation model and thus designs it according to the client’s priorities to ensure the final delivery aligns with the client’s business objectives.

The organization then ensures that the implemented solution is unit tested and assists the QA team by giving them a list of complete use cases in a detailed format. It also provides them with test cases so they can test and approve the end IAM solution. Finally, it offers detailed deliverables to the operations teams: requirement specifications, technical design documents, runbooks, and training videos on operating the IAM solution. Identopia also works with customers who have product upgrades and/or migration projects. These opportunities follow the same holistic approach as the above defined implementation journey.

Identopia’s Post-Implementation Support group uniquely offers a month-to-month subscription service where any support tickets related to the IAM solution are addressed, and the company solves any client IAM pitfalls or needs. The organization also provides a 90-day service guarantee on all of its deliverables. Within 90 days of implementation, if any element of the solution is broken or if there is a discrepancy in any technical document, Identopia will make the recommended repairs to the solution free-of-charge.

Identopia’s staff consists of developers, solution architects, project managers, and business analysts certified in the vendor solutions that it implements for its clients. Another unique strength of the company is that all staff is onshore and is able to be onsite at customer locations. The company’s flat organizational structure and go-to-market model attributes to low overhead that leads to cost-savings that are passed on to its customers.

Moving ahead, Identopia wishes to continue providing its services to customers based on its expertise and experience and has set its sights to become one of the top IAM Implementation solution providers in the country. As Ranjeet Gollapudi, CTO of Identopia, says, “Our goal is to design, implement, maintain, and, support our customers’ IAM programs to securely protect their company’s information assets and simplify the lives of their staff and users.”
